Week 14

So here we are, week 14! This officially means I am out of the first trimester and man, is that a relief. For the past 9 weeks my poor body has taken a beating. Between the constant nausea, the vomiting and the fatigue I was sure that this day would never arrive. Thank goodness I was wrong. I woke up today feeling groggy like normal but then something started to happen. I didn’t want to immediately go right back to bed, I wanted to come downstairs and clean. I wanted to vacuum and do dishes. These are all things that made me want to die just a few weeks ago. I would do some dishes and literally need to take a two hour nap to recover. The fatigue of pregnancy is almost indescribable. I will try my best. Ok imagine this, you have just packed your entire 3 story house in preparation for moving, you then packed the entire moving truck with your possessions including all the boxes you just packed along with your furniture, you then unload the truck at the new 4 story house, unpack all the boxes and arrange all the furniture. Then you run 5 miles, do 3 loads of laundry and mow the lawn twice. At that point, I think you would feel as exhausted as a pregnant lady who only just got up to get herself a glass of water. Sounds fun doesn’t it? SO, to wake up this morning and think of doing anything aside from lying on the couch was just about the greatest feeling in the world. They say the 2nd trimester is when all the good stuff happens and the elusive glow I have been chasing for the past three months begins. I can’t wait!

Here is a progression of pictures from week 5 to week 13. And then one of Jon so you can see how much more he is showing than I am.

where am I?

Liz and Jon did it. Now they are having a baby. They are not married. This is the website for their illegitimate child.
