So, I’m still here. To pass the time I have been crafting all sorts of goodies with my new sewing machine. I also made a little stuffed owl with felt and some good old fashioned hand sewing. Kit of course loves her new friends. To show her love, she attacks them as often as posible. I was however, able to get a shot of them playing nicely. As you can see, they like hanging out in Elzie’s pack and play.
I just love how they all have that glazed over look!
So, tomorrow is the big due date. I have this feeling that I am going to watch it come and go. Luckily I am still feeling really good, so if that is the case then so be it. One request little Elzie: please do not choose to make your debut between Wednesday and Saturday, for if you do you will not get to meet Korben or Sandy upon your arrival and both would be very sad! Tuesday would be great, how about you come on Tuesday. Thanks
I can’t believe this could potentially be the last week of being pregnant. The time has gone by so quickly and because I have been feeling so good lately I barely even notice the huge bump I am sporting. I have been trying to figure out why, over the past week or so, I have felt so good and I finally realized it is because Elzie has dropped. She started making her decent about two weeks ago and is now fully engaged. It’s amazing, I can eat without feeling filled to the brim with dinner and a baby and I can breath slightly, yes only slightly, better than before. Apparently this means she is coming any day now. We have everything ready; the nursery section of the office is put together, the car seat is installed, we have picked our pediatrician, the birth center bag is packed, all of her clothes are washed, we got a glider and now we are just sitting pretty and enjoying our last few days of peace and quiet. It’s been such an amazing journey and I am so grateful and appreciative for all those who have helped us and made this experience as wonderful as it has been!
Here is a little video of my 39 week belly. The cat of course had to make her way into things.
This weekend we had the pleasure of attending the Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival where we got to see Auntie Niff kick some major butt in her rope routine (this was the 3rd time in a span of two hours that she had to perform this routine and you would NEVER know!!).
