39 Weeks Pregnant
I can’t believe this could potentially be the last week of being pregnant. The time has gone by so quickly and because I have been feeling so good lately I barely even notice the huge bump I am sporting. I have been trying to figure out why, over the past week or so, I have felt so good and I finally realized it is because Elzie has dropped. She started making her decent about two weeks ago and is now fully engaged. It’s amazing, I can eat without feeling filled to the brim with dinner and a baby and I can breath slightly, yes only slightly, better than before. Apparently this means she is coming any day now. We have everything ready; the nursery section of the office is put together, the car seat is installed, we have picked our pediatrician, the birth center bag is packed, all of her clothes are washed, we got a glider and now we are just sitting pretty and enjoying our last few days of peace and quiet. It’s been such an amazing journey and I am so grateful and appreciative for all those who have helped us and made this experience as wonderful as it has been!
Here is a little video of my 39 week belly. The cat of course had to make her way into things.

You know what’s going to be funny….when the second child doesn’t have a website or any videos or anything to record his/her incubation period. wait. that’s not funny…..that’s mean. you two are mean. mayhaps you shouldn’t be allowed to rear children if your going to neglect the ones you haven’t had yet.

I love that Kit was filming for you! She’s such a rascal!!!
Your belly is the most perfect of perfects. It’s killing me not to rub it on a regular basis. I can’t really remember you not pregnant. Can you?

You look amazing. I’m so glad that you’ve had such a beautiful pregnancy. I’m sure it will result in a beautiful birth and a beautiful baby daughter. The midwives at TBC are amazing. They will take wonderful care of your family. Good luck with the birth.
